We invite you to send us completed manuscripts of both fiction and non-fiction works. We welcome novels, novellas, memoirs, history, short story collections, anthologies, poetry chapbooks and full length poetry collections.
We require a cover letter/essay with a concise book summary, what themes your manuscript addresses, and a description of your intended audience. Tell us how your book would make an original contribution and your ideas for promotion. (Please scroll down for submission requirements).
We do not charge for publication, our mission is to aid and illuminate our communities' literature as an American form, and to empower and bring greater recognition to Raza writers. All authors whose manuscripts are accepted, will receive a publishing contract with SOMOS EN ESCRITO PRESS, and be invited to select a portion of the book's proceeds to donate to a charity that empowers Raza.
