That includes Maria Nieto, Michelle Marie Robles Wallace, Jesús Mena, Carlota Caulfield, and our own editor, Armando Rendón. Our assistant editor, Scott Russell Duncan (AKA Scott Duncan-Fernandez) will moderate.

Michelle Marie Robles Wallace Michelle Marie Robles Wallace is working on a collection of stories set along the borderlands, a memoir and a YA novel. She has is particularly interested in themes of healing and borders. Read Michelle's "Death Eye Dog" which was a finalist for the 2018 Extra Fiction Contest.
Jesús Mena Jesús Mena is the son of undocumented immigrants whose stories focus on life along the border. He grew up as a migrant farmworker. Read Jesús's "Life Along the Border" on Somos en escrito.
Carlota Caulfield Carlota Caulfield is a Cuban-born American poet, editor, translator, and author of nine poetry collections. She is a professor at Mills College. Read Carlota's "Two Poems/Dos Poemas" on Somos en escrito.
